Cubs' play will 'even out' amid streaky season

The Giants broke out with 12 runs in Milwaukee Thursday, then they beat the Cubs 18-3 on Friday here.
Chapman, Adames, and Schmidt each hit two home runs in that game.
But they're 13 under 500.
One bright spot, there are a few, this is one of them, Rafael Devers, who was reluctant to move across the diamond from third to first with the Red Sox, has done it successfully with the Giants.
It looks like he's really settled in at first base.
It's not easy just to move over there.
I know all the controversy last year moving over there with the Red Sox.
He has another year under his belt here now getting used to playing first.
You see here he p- he gets under this ball, picks it nicely.
So I always thought he was really good over there at third base, and it seems like it's translating over to first base.
And as a fellow first baseman, I love to give, give the praise to the first basemans.
Four Gold Gloves.
That, that doesn't hurt.
But I always try to help out the big guys over there at first.
And speaking of Devers, he's 4-13 with a couple of homers off the Cubs starter tonight, Jameson Taillon.
He'll go against Trevor McDonald, pair of right-handers.

Yeah, I mean, whenever I played against Devers, he always hit home runs.
When I was on the Yankees, he, he hit 1,000 home runs against us.
So I mentioned to him before the game, I was like, "Hey, man, take it easy on my Cubbies."
But, Taillon's a veteran pitcher.
He I feel like he When the lights shine a little bit brighter, we're on p- he's on prime time tonight, Sunday Night Baseball, so I always felt like he, he really beared down.
But he's a veteran pitcher.
He has experience, and he'll, he'll try to navigate the best he can.
