Dana White confirms UFC handled ‘crazy’ behind-the-scenes incident

UFC president Dana White acknowledged an incident involving Namo Fazil during fight week, saying the promotion addressed it internally. As Fazil prepared for his Dana White's Contender Series bout with Kaik Brito, he alleged a confrontation with a group of Chechens that disrupted his weight cut and became physical. At the UFC Sacramento post-fight press conference, White said the organization was aware and declined to detail potential consequences for UFC fighter Baisangur Susurkaev, who had hinted at involvement. He said it was managed behind the scenes as part of the business.Police responded, according to the account, and Fazil later lost by knockout, a result celebrated online by several fighters, including former UFC champion Khamzat Chimaev.
