Renato Carneiro slams Dana White for insensitive Instagram post

UFC lightweight Renato "Money Moicano" Carneiro publicly criticized UFC CEO Dana White's Instagram Stories sequence following a tribute to late flyweight Allan Nascimento. In successive posts, Dana White Instagram Stories first honored Nascimento, 34, then showed him smoking a cigar with the caption "Great Day." Renato Moicano responded on X, writing that White "messed up" with the order of posts. Fans had flagged the pairing as insensitive even as they noted the posts were unrelated. Carneiro's recent record includes a win over Chris Duncan after losses to Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush earlier this year. He posted condolences for Nascimento on August 3, 2026, and shared the sentiment in Portuguese the following day. Another social media user also criticized White in a separate post.
