Eight days into free agency, LeBron James has still not made a decision on what team he will play for in year 24.
James will definitely be leaving the Los Angeles Lakers, and there's only a handful of teams who have a realistic chance at signing the league's all-time leading scorer.
Brett, which teams have a real shot to sign LeBron James for this next season?
LeBron James appears to be in no rush to make a decision.
However, those teams out there pursuing him want to know whether or not they are still in the race.
Although Rich Paul had his elaborate whiteboard scheme and wrote out all the teams that are potentially in the mix for LeBron, I only view four of those teams as legitimate suitors.
That is the Golden State Warriors, the Miami Heat, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are the number one most talked about team in connection to LeBron.
Two reasons stand out.
One, it's a full circle ending for LeBron to go back for a third time to the city that has embraced him since he was a kid, and the team he will forever go down as the greatest in history of.
The second reason is LeBron recently hired a film crew to follow him around for what could be his 24th and final NBA season.
Why would he do that?
Going back to the Cavs and having that film just makes the most sense.
Everybody thinks LeBron's gonna go back to Cleveland, and that seems to be the number one option at this time
