Lebron James' future is very much up in the air.
Many think he'll return to the Cavs.
Some say he'll be back with the Lakers.
But there's a third option that's very much on the table.
Brett, what's the latest on LeBron James potentially finding a third team he could join this summer?
Many around the league still expect LeBron James to return to the Los Angeles Lakers.
But if he was said to leave, the Cleveland Cavaliers have long been at the top of the list for potential suitors for LeBron.
That third team, and that has been viewed as a dark horse, is the Golden State Warriors.
And we are told here at Clutch Points that after striking out on a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade and Kawhi Leonard trade looking unlikely, LeBron James is now their priority entering the off-season, and the Warriors will be pursuing LeBron entering free agency.
The Warriors have long pursued LeBron since 2020, and they have had dreams of pairing him with Stephen Curry.
They got a glimpse of that at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and now with LeBron being a free agent at the end of his career, they have a chance to finally put him in a Golden State jersey and contend for a championship one last time.
