Yeah, it, that was another rough one today, you know, and, and, you know, to pile onto that, Cease had amazing stuff.
Yep.
I mean, you know, normally yesterday you felt like in the third the game was over.
It was, like, eight to two already, and, you know, McDonald's out of game.
Today, Logan Webb had a rough first inning, but he bounced back.
He did.
He only gave up one hit after that in the next six innings, but again, it was a, you know, little consolation for- Right for this Giants team who couldn't muster a hit until the ninth inning against Dylan Cease, who was just- Yeah I mean, just absolutely filthy today.

He had five strike outs through the first three innings, and he had the Giants off balance all day long.
The slider was just filthy.
The fastball was pumping 98, 97.

The one blemish, the three walks, but he did not get burned by the three walks.

Went out for the ninth inning before Elliot Ramos broke up the no-hitter with a lead off single in that inning, but Dylan Cease, my Lord, what a performance.
I mean, he had everything working today, which you see here.
I think he had, what, 11 strike outs today on the day.
I mean, fastball was still 98, 99 in the eighth inning.
You see here, usually every, every no-hit bid- Bid has a play, and that was the play, and I think that was in the, uh- Top of the, bottom of the eighth bottom of the eighth.
Bottom of the eighth, one out.

And yes, you need a play like that to save a no-hitter, and you thought, "You know what?
He's three outs away," but his location right there on the sinker left it elevated.
Ramos goes up, right up the middle, center field, and a no-hitter gets broken up.
But a career high 118 pitches for Dylan Cease, and the Blue Jays have won 11 of the 17 starts this season.
He has been their stopper, and he stopped the Giants all day long.
Yeah.
And I give, I give the, the Blue Jays and, Schneider credit for giving him a chance to go out there, man.
He's a veteran guy.
Yeah.
He's, he's thrown a lot of pitches before, and it's nice to see, and you know, even though it's a Giant blowout loss, it's nice to see the manager probably going up- Yeah to the pitcher and saying, "Hey, man, you, you good?
You wanna go for this?
You wanna try this?"
You know?
And, and yeah, it looked like he said yes, and unfortunately left one pitch, a little, g- caught too much of the plate to Elliot Ramos.
And, you know, and I'm shocked 'cause- Yeah at the time, Ramos was O for three with three strike outs.
Yeah.
And he was working him down and away, down and away, down and away with the fastball and the breaking ball, and then he tried to go in there and just left it a little bit over the inside part of the plate.
But, I mean, those games, I mean, granted, it w- it was a terrible game for us to cover for the Giants, but it made it exciting that- Right there was some, you know, we could've been watching some baseball history.
Yeah, it could've been the 328th no-hitter in Major League Baseball history.
