But, to, to at least break through with a hit there, does that kinda say anything, mean, mean anything?
I mean, yeah, I broke a no-hitter, but at the end of the day, we lost.
It was a really bad loss for us.
I think we're really better than that.
He had it going on today.
I think we should've, done a better job just, like, attacking the zone, just being aggressive.
But, at the end of the day, he's a really good pitcher.
I think he's a young caliber, so he had it going on.
I think we just got too comfy.
He just repeated a couple fastballs on me, and that's when I took my chance.
But I mean, I tip my cap to him.
He's really good.
He was really good today.
He had it going on, for sure.
What- How satisfying was that, to do something like that, even in a 10-nothing loss?
I mean, at the end, at the end of the day, yeah, it feels good for the boys that we didn't get no-hit, but- Yeah the loss wasn't, was no fun.
That was no fun today.
What was making him so effective?
I think it's just the mix.
He, he wasn't, to me, personally, to me, he wasn't repeating any fastballs.
He was just, like, mixing and matching pretty good, locating the pitches.
the slider looked just like the fastball, so, it kinda looked like he had pinpoint on.
But I'm not saying he did, not throwing that out there, but, he was pretty, he was pretty good.
He, he's a pretty good pitcher.
Everybody knows it.
That's why he is where he's at right now.
And I mean, I just think we should've done a better job, but he, he did have it going on today.
What did you think of the catch that Marshall made to rob Bryce, too?
yeah, when he made that catch, that's one of those two catches that, like, that's Basically, when somebody's throwing a no-hitter, it's like, and they make that catch, it's like, that's the only chance we had.
And it's like, oh, my God, like, like, we can't catch a break even on that, you know?
So, I think it was a good play.
He's a really good defensive player.
but yeah, I think other than that, he's just had it going on.
He was, he was pretty good.
