But, you know, the, the NFL salary cap I find is funny to me, Andrew, because these GMs just, like, will manipulate it and be like- Right "All right, one day you're 10 million under."
They, they hit the button on a couple contracts, pay a couple guys with a bag of cash, and you're like- Right "All of a sudden they got 40 million."
You're like- Right "All right, cool, man.
Like, I'll take it."
It- it's kind of like Monopoly money, you know?
Yeah.
Like, sure, we need to stay within this framework, but if you want somebody, you're gonna figure out how to- Yeah how to bring them back.
Historically, how is Gutekunst with, with that?
Like, is he a guy who's gonna get in there and, and make a lot of those, like, restructure-type moves to free up cash, or does he not- Yes get into that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
the Packers like to, to extend and restructure.
Mm-hmm.
They like to sign early.
you know, get somebody maybe a year early so they can kind of bump, you know, bump things out.
this is probably the worst their salary cap has looked in a couple years, and- Yeah it makes sense.
They traded, they traded for Micah Parsons, right?
They're paying Jordan Love.
They've got two top 10 players at, at two premium positions.
So, um- Yeah I just think with the way that this season has gone, you can't take a step backward when it comes to, you know, letting premium talent go.
That's why I think Walker's the guy you really want to try to You know, is there a way we can move some things around, and, and bring this guy back?
So let me, before we get into our last topic, let me bring up a couple names for you.
Okay.
so Rob Demovsky is the ESPN Packers reporter.
He brought up some names for folks who, could be cut, as cap casualties.
So let me bring these up here and see what you think.
Rashan Gary.
Mm-hmm.
seven, seven and a half sacks, I believe, this season.
You know, you've got Micah Parsons, who's probably not gonna be back till week four, but you can save let me see here.
you can save 10 million in cap space by, by cutting Rashan Gary, and that's a lot of money.
Yeah, that's a lot of money.
I like Gary.
Who, who else can we cut?
Alton Jenkins, the center, the guard.
he's two-time, Pro Bowler at guard.
They tried to move him to center.
Pro Bowls now.
Hey, we wanna have a Pro Bowl- Oh, that's true.
That's true.
Pro Bowl- He was an All-Pro We'll have a Pro Bowl conversation.
He was an All-Pro, which is much more legit than, uh- Yeah than- Pro is a different, different classification these days.
so let's see.
If they cut him, they're gonna pick up 20 million in cap space- Whoa and he's coming off a torn ACL.
I think he's probably more than likely gone.
Yeah.
So there's 20 million there.
Let's say you cut Gary as well, there's 30-
