Penn State is reportedly set to end its longtime partnership with Nike and sign with Adidas, marking a major change for one of college athletics' most recognizable brands. Here's what fans should know.

We have officially received our first look at Penn State's new jerseys.
That's right, for the first time in over thirty years, Penn State is no longer with Nike.
They are with Adidas.
They have swapped out the swoosh for the three stripes.
And to be honest, this is about as expected.
The only real difference is that logo.
Obviously, you're gonna have that navy blue, that white, that makes up Penn State football.
And the real news here is that this is a smart business decision for the Nittany Lions because I gotta be honest, whether it's Penn State, Ohio State, Florida, whoever, if a company comes and offers you three hundred million dollars, because that's what this deal is, around thirty million dollars a year for the next decade, that's too good to pass on.
Even if it means giving up a sponsorship or a partnership with what is honestly one of the biggest b- brands, if not brand apparels in the world via Nike, it's something that Penn State, they just have to do.
They-- You cannot pass up on that kind of money, especially in the world of college football nowadays, where, let's be honest, it's pay to play, it's NIL.
It's just something that if a team or if a sponsor or if a donor, whoever, comes out and says, "Hey, I'm gonna give you three hundred million dollars, and all you have to do is change from a swoosh to three stripes," it's a no-brainer.
That's what Penn State has done.
