Evans still capable of fantasy WR1 output in SF
In addition to stabilizing the 49ers' WR corps, there are several reasons why Mike Evans can maintain his longtime fantasy WR1 status in 2026 after reportedly signing with San Francisco.

After 12 years in Tampa Bay, the unthinkable will be happening in 2026 as Mike Evans dons a new uniform.
Denny Carter, it's gonna be the San Francisco 49ers via a three-year contract on the first day of free agency.
49ers have been needing to fortify this receiver corps despite using a lot of elite draft capital, and if Mike Evans definitely comes in and stabilizes it, but he's getting older.
The injury history is getting longer.
Can Mike Evans still be a fantasy wide receiver too in the 49ers very fantasy-friendly offense?
I, I'm gonna raise you one.
I'm gonna say that with some touchdown luck or variance or whatever you wanna call it, Mike Evans could be a wide receiver one in the San Francisco offense because Jauan Jennings will be moving on most likely.
Ricky Pearsall doesn't strike me as the kinda guy who's gonna threaten, you know, the workload, the target share, the air yard share for Mike Evans.
And also, you won't be shocked to know this, Brock Purdy, really good downfield passer.
In fact, as far as accuracy goes downfield, meaning 20 yards beyond the line of scrimmage, only Sam Darnold was better last year than Brock Purdy.
Baker Mayfield was near the bottom of the league last year, and Mike Evans suffered for it.
So I do think it is a quarterback upgrade for Mike Evans, and I'm looking forward to drafting him in a lot of spots.
It could maybe be a targets upgrade too, 'cause George Kittle also coming back from severe injury.
It's kinda almost underrated how badly the 49ers needed another target in their skill core.
Mike Evans could be 33, though.
Hopefully, that hamstring can stay healthy.
Mike Evans is gonna be a really fascinating fantasy player in 2026.
