Who's a player that has surprised you that you were out on to start the year?
Who was a player that you were avoiding drafting but has actually been, you know, a pleasant surprise for you?
I'd have to go with Pete Crow-Armstrong.
I, you know, I didn't really 'Cause of last year's second half, he had fallen off pretty badly after his really good first half, and I thought the league caught up with him.
But as we see with most great hitters, he, the league caught up to him, but then he caught up to the pitchers again.
So he struggled out of the gate in April, but then he really started to come on in May.
And June, he's been probably the pa- the player of the month for the, NL in- Yeah, I agree in, June.
He's, I mean, he's just been fantastic.
And, you know, thankfully I, you know, I, I happen to have him in a keeper league because I just had him for such a cheap price, but I was completely out on Pete Crow-Armstrong, much to my chagrin for most of my leagues.
Yeah.
Well, I, I would tell you this, Gray, if anybody could predict the weeks that Pete Crow-Armstrong goes off, they'd be very rich.
Because- the season is the end of March, April, May, and June, and Gray, the dude has had three good weeks, but they've just been incredible.
Like, they've been amazing and incredible.
The rest of the season's been a dud.
Yeah, no, completely.
He's, he's really been the prototypical hot/cold player.
But when he's hot- Absolutely he's, he's absolutely hot.
Yeah, he has.
