Florida Gators Recruiting Is Heating Up For 2028 Class

John Summerall continues to recruit his butt off and it hasn't stopped.

Now the 2027 class is mostly set with 26 commitments even though they are still chasing two five stars as my dogs decide, hey, they are really excited about this recruiting class as well.

They are pursuing a lot of 2028 top prospects including Antonio Thomas Jr., the elite edge rusher.

Now he has talked about the fact that he sees himself in a Gator uniform one day.

He was at Girl at the Ville.

He is a four star, the number 17 overall recruit in the class of 2028 per rivals.

But it's a little bit of everything.

He talked about how it was a nice little workout, some one-on-ones and had fun.

And being that he's the 17th overall recruit right now, now that can change.

He may move up.

He may move down.

There's still a lot of information that has to come out with two years of high school football.

But make no mistake about it.

The Gators are making a play for all these big time players and they're responding.

Why?
