All right, last, last player here we'll talk about.
Man, I have loved watching Foster Griffin pitch all season.
He is on the Washington Nationals, and there are some, you know, discussions that maybe he would be a guy the Nationals would move.
So let me make a suggestion here to the Nationals.
Yeah, you gotta make this trade.
I mean, I, I, I think he's great, but this, this could be the best pitcher available for a lot of different reasons, Tom, on, at the deadline.
Because I don't, I don't know that Schoop is gonna be moved or not.
But Foster Griffin is cheap.
I mean, this was a one-year deal.
He is.
You pay this guy 3 or 4 million the rest of the season to make another eight to 10 starts, and maybe even make playoff start number two or three.
I, I would think the, the Nationals will cash in big on Foster Griffin.
I, I think so as well.
You know, you bring in Early, and maybe that signals that they are now dead set on moving Griffin.
Because, you know, frankly, Griffin's been great.
I think Cade Cavalli is super solid, and if you can do something with Early to, you know, shift him into being more of an ace or a pseudo ace alongside Cade Cavalli, you now have an expendable asset with Foster Griffin.
And a- again, we've talked about this before, postseason teams would love to have this type of pitcher on their staff.
And that's ultimately what postseason team needs, is to get Foster Griffin.
Make the trade, get it going.
And a left-handed pitcher right now in the big league is very, very crucial with a lot of these teams with lefty batters.
It's really been, somewhat of an epidemic with all these left-handed hitters.
In fact, on Saturday, I don't know if people know this, but it was the first day ever with 250 strikeouts and less than 15 home runs hit across the league.
First time ever in the history of the game.
