Washington Nationals: Disappointing Season and Trade Talks Ahead

All right, so the fun for the Washington Nationals, I think officially comes to a close this week.
They g- they just got beat down by the Br- Braves seemingly put everybody out of their misery it seems like every year.
You think you're really good, and then you play the Braves, and they take care of you.

That, I, I, I Look, Washington was, was playing opportunistic baseball.
They, Paul Taboni, the general manager, came out and said that they may extend Foster Griffin.
Why did they do that?
That's why, so they can trade him tomorrow and get more for him.
That's the way that it works.
He's gonna be traded tomorrow.
Some team is gonna cash in, I think, big time on him.
I, I got nothing bad to say about the Nationals.
They were ahead of pace, but now I think, anything that's not tied down for the future, they gotta move, I think, tomorrow.

I, great fun season from n- the Nationals.
It's obviously not over.
You know, you go out and get a pitcher with Early.
For me, I think that's fine.
You say you wanna tr- extend Foster Griffin, which I saw that report earlier in the week.
I was like, "There's no way this is true."
No chance.
Like, we're talking about a, a pitcher in Foster Griffin, who has extremely limited MLB experience prior to this season.
And he's been great this season, but he's also just not the type of player that you wanna invest heavily in until he actually proves it for multiple seasons.
So they should trade him, gets some, get some assets back.
Again, I'm gonna continue to say high level pitching prospects, either starting pitching or relief pitching, which they desperately need bullpen help.
And then you'll be in a good spot.
Don't trade CJ Abrams, and you work towards next year.
No.
They're not gonna trade him.
You can remedy some of it in the off season, and you go from there.
Yeah.
It's a good team.
It's like Paul Taboni calls me.
He says, "Craig Mish, hey, can, you know, Foster Griffin extension.
We're thinking extension."
You know?
