How'd it feel just getting your first Major League start here at Oracle Park?

Felt great, you know, just to get out there and play baseball again is really fun.

Yeah, I had a lot of support, a lot of family here, so it was good, you know, to have them all Oh.

Willie.

Willie, you gotta tell him.

You gotta tell me.

We got caught in the crossfire.

I didn't know Gatorade burned- I know or Powerade.

My gosh.

I closed my eyes in time.

sorry, take us back through your first Major League start.

It was, it was a lot of fun.

It was good to, get the first one out of the way, kinda get the jitters out of the way.

Once I got the first inning, I got pretty comfortable in the box- Yeah was able to start, you know, get my pitches.

So it was fun.

Powerade, a little chilly.

Little bit, especially when it's like 45 degrees outside.

You don't need it.

A little bit.

We were in the press box, and we, uh- Yeah, seriously we saw Sorry about that.

My earpiece is, wet.

we were in the press box.

Your family, there was a bunch of 'em tonight, huh?

Yeah.

How many, what was the, what was the pass list tonight?

I have no clue.

I, my fiance handled tickets tonight, so I knew there was gonna be like somewhere between 15 and 30, so I'm guessing they were somewhere on there.

Yeah, and your brother, Andrew, was in the stands.

He looked pretty fired up for you.

I know you've talked about how close of a relationship you have.

For folks at home who may not know, he played for the San Francisco Giants, and for President of Baseball O- Operations, Buster Posey, what are your conversations like with him, kinda to help get you ready and let you know what it's gonna be like as you make your way up to the bigs?

Yeah, he's been huge for me.

more mental than anything, you know, just kinda talking to him, just kinda told me before today, "Go have fun.

It's the same game, just bigger stadium, so just go have fun, you know, take it all in.

Enjoy it, but also have fun."

Hey, you seem pretty calm right now.

Are you, were you that calm when you got in the box in your first Major League?

No, I was, I was, I was not.

But it starts to go away as the game goes on, so, you know, you start to get more comfortable.

But I think that's just my demeanor.

It's always been that way, so.

Well, you hit a first pitch curve ball.

I mean, what were you sitting on in the first at bat?

I know.

I came in the dugout, I was like, "I was not expecting that."

It just kinda like, I was looking heater, it popped, got it, slapped it in the right, so.

Great job.

And you're one for one on your first challenge- Yeah which I thought was huge- I know 'cause Ryan Walker could outta walk right there.

That was- Yeah that was, that was pretty gutsy right there with one challenge like that.

It was a risky one, but kinda worked out.

Yeah.

Well, thank you so much.

Congratulations on your first start- Of course and a great win for San Francisco.

Go dry off.

I know.
