Logan Webb did not have the stuff that we as Giants fans know and expect him to have.

Just the bottom half of that lineup for the most part was, was killing Logan.

And some point there's three straight changeups that go for hits, and then in the fifth inning I think it was three out of four pitches go for hits.

So an impressive attack and, you know, for Logan who's coming off the WBC and, and kind of raised his profile a little bit there, that sucks 'cause it's the first Netflix game and the first game of the Major League season.

And gets off to such a good start and gets two strikeouts in the first and, and gets Judge on I don't know if Judge will take a worse swing all year than the one he took in the first inning.

And then from there it just spiraled on him.

Mm-hmm.

You gotta tip your cap a little bit and just be like, "The Yankees got 'em."

Yeah.

And I think he's frustrated and should've been.

not at all the way he intended to start the season, and you know, we joke about this with relievers sometimes that when you do that early, it takes months to kind of whittle that down.

With Logan, who will probably go eight innings at some point in the next couple weeks, like it'll be a little bit easier to, to whittle that ERA down.

But- Yeah to start with six earned, right off the bat, that's gonna, that's gonna take a few weeks or months to, to get back to where you normally are.

And just the third time in his career he's given up seven runs total, and only twice since he became a full-time starter in '21.

So really, really unexpected.
