To Matt LaFleur.

You can absolutely see what he's trying to do on the defensive side of the ball.

Basically, he wants to worry absolutely nothing about it.

He doesn't want to think about defense.

He doesn't want to worry about defense.

He wants to be there on the sidelines, with his tablet, while the defense is and so that he can focus on offense.

So, the Packers hired Bobby Babich.

He's gonna be their pass game coordinator and secondary coach.

Babich was the defensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills for the past two seasons.

So if you're, if you're kind of keeping track, we've got Jonathan Gannon as a defensive coordinator.

He's a former head coach.

He was the defense coordinator for the Eagles.

Took them to a Super Bowl.

They didn't win that, but he still got there with them, had a really good defense in Philly.

And now we've got a former defensive coordinator as a secondaries coach and pass game coordinator in Babich.

So those are two guys right there who can absolutely just run that defense and, make it so that LaFleur doesn't even have to think about it.

Throw in DeMarcus Covington, who is still, right now, the run game coordinator and defensive line coach.

DeMarcus Covington was defensive coordinator with the, Patriots a couple years ago.

So right now, the Packers have technically they have a defensive coordinator, and then they have two people who are former defense coordinators on their staff, on the defense, running that defense.

And, I like that.

I like that a lot.

LaFleur wants somebody who can be a head coach on defense.

He's got that in Ganon, and now Ganon, you know, as long as Covington sticks around, has two former defense coordinators underneath him, and that just seems like a, a great power structure, a lot of good experience there.

And I think, the Packers' defense is only gonna benefit from having a guy like Babich around.
