Highlights | 2026 Short Track Super Series at Outlaw Speedway

The Short Track Super Series makes its annual visit to Dundee, New York for the Outlaw Showdown on July 9, 2026.

As the modifieds are ready to rumble.

And the Dave Machuga Memorial Outlaw Showdown gets underway here in Dundee, New York.

Bobby Barren, he will set the early pace down the back straightaway they go.

Great side by side battles as we come off of turn number four to complete lap number one.

They're still side by side.

Who's gonna lead them?

By nose, it's gonna be Bobby Barren over Anthony Parego.

Barren and Parego going at it.

Parego got by Shepherd, dropping him back to third.

Mergovich is in fourth spot as they head into the turn.

Great battle up front.

It's still side by side.

Bobby Barren leads the way.

Well, Parego's still bringing that bottom side to life.

Pulls alongside Barren as Barren let the right rear hang over the edge just a little bit.

Side by side once again for the top spot.

Here comes Parego, trying to take the short way around Bobby Barren, and he will lead lap number three.

Yeah, by a car length out the wire.

Whoa, Barren almost going off the racetrack into the pits.

That is a costly error.

He may stop for a caution, and we will get it.

Oh, baby.

On the right side as the field approaches the Snoco restart zone.

Once again, we get back underway.

Here's the green as they charge into turn number one.

Parego again at the bottom, and Shepherd tries the outside this time.

Anthony's got a great run off of turn number two.

See if Shepherd will try the outside again.

Williamson and Yankowski and Alex Payne.

Whoa.

Oh, wow, a little bit of contact there.

We saw that happen on the back straightaway between Payne and Yankowski.

Now, Yankowski is losing positions right now, and your leader is off the pace.

Anthony Parego off the pace into turns number three and four as the caution flag waves.

Oh, no.

Wow.

Matt and Matt, then Payne and Yankowski, the two new friends.

Then we got Ward and Maresca out of the corner, back to green.

Three wide, more contact between Payne and Yankowski.

Payne runs Yankowski up above the cushion.

Oh, my.

All hell is breaking loose right now here at Outlaw Speedway.

We've got a battle for the lead- Oh, trouble in turn number four.

Oh, look at this, coming down the straightaway, yellow is out.

Williamson driving past Shepherd for the lead out of turn four, and we've got four cars piled up over here in the corner.

See if we can get the boys to settle down a little bit and give us some more good racing.

Here they come.

These restarts have been very wild.

What happens in the turns number one and two?

There goes Yankowski to the outside of Alex Payne, who'll move into third.

Here comes Matt Williamson with a run on Matt Shepherd.

They drag race into turns number three and four.

Do we have a new leader?

Yes, we do.

It's gonna be Matt Williamson.

Williamson using the outside lane to go around Shepherd.

Shepherd fighting back on the inside, drag racing down the back straightaway.

Now Yankowski comes out of that four-car battle.

He is now third.

He's moving in now on Shepherd, and now Williamson will open up a little daylight.

Here they come.

Right now, Money Matt leads the way.

The S&W Service Center number six working out of the turn.

Whoa, Payne!

Oh, Payne.

Above the cushion in turn two.

He almost went to the pits, and he didn't want to that time.

He saved it.

Nice job heading into the turn, and it's still Maresca sweeping to the outside, battling with Alex Yankowski.

Down the straightaway right behind them is Alex Payne.

Then we got Siri, Ward, Brady, Fultz, and the one of Felix Waugh in next, the next several positions.

Meanwhile, the battle rages for position two.

Maresca still trying to look to the outside of Yankowski.

He will complete that pass for third.

Now he looks to the outside of Matt Shepherd.

He has a run down the back straightaway.

Shepherd has no idea that Maresca has brought that top side back to life.

Side by side off of turn four.

We got two battles of two, Maresca battling Shepherd and Payne battling Yankowski.

Right now, the outside lane is ahead of the inside lane.

Down the back, Maresca now will move to second, and Payne not only got by Yankowski, he's gonna drive by Shepherd.

As that car looks like it's starting to get tight, Maresca's there, nose to tail for the lead at the flagstand.

Maresca goes back to the top in one and two.

Williamson's got to fight for the lead now.

Down the back, Brady Fultz, where did he come from on that last restart?

He's battling now with Matt Shepherd for position number four.

Maresca's high.

On the inside is Williamson.

Williamson by a car length at the line again.

Eight laps to go.

The battle still rages on for the top spot.

Here comes Michael Maresca to the outside.

He'll take the lead down the back straightaway.

Can Williamson answer the call?

Side by side once again into turn number four.

We'll bring it back to the line.

We have a new leader.

It's gonna be the 7MM of Mikey Maresca.

Maresca starting out of position number eight.

Williamson started out position 12.

Maresca out of position eight.

He's roved the rim to the outside and taken over the lead.

We're gonna add another name to that Dave Machuga Memorial win list.

Michael Maresca down the back looking for the $7,078 payday here tonight.

Out of the turn, winning the Dave Machuga Memorial will be Michael Maresca.

Following him at the line will be Williamson, Yankowski, Shepherd, and Brady Fultz, the top five.
