Highlights: Women's Motocross Round 4, Unadilla
Watch highlights from Round 4 of the Women's Motocross Championship at Unadilla MX in New Berlin, New York, where Lachlan Turner had her hands full with Charli Cannon and Taylah McCutcheon.

With their first moto on a Friday afternoon at Unadilla.
Let's show you that.
Bayla Herrick back.
The rookie had the good start.
We saw that championship she won at Loretta Lynn's.
She's out front early.
Got Charlie Cannon in the mix, but man, Lala Turner did not mess around on the number one.
Well, we've seen this a lot this year, Lala not getting the best of starts, but she is so fast on the opening part of the laps as she's already up into second place.
Only a few corners later, Bayla makes a small mistake on the inside.
That's all Charlie needed.
I mean, excuse me, Lachlan needed to make that pass into the lead, and from that point, man, she put on a, a sprint, was able to break these girls and kind of get away from them.
Then it was Charlie Cannon second in our championship.
She makes the pass up for third, and you got the top three.
You got Lala, Bayla, and then Charlie.
And then the first mistake is gonna be Bayla Herrick as she slides out going up the hill.
We saw this yesterday, but we only caught the end of it.
You can see how much time she lost at the bottom of that wall jump, and Charlie was able to make it.
But then it was Charlie's turn to make a small mistake as she loses the front end in this long rut.
She goes down.
Bayla was a- able to make the pass, and you thought that was it, but nope.
Long ruts, another mistake by Bayla.
She's running second.
Goes down here, allows I believe that was Cannon, making the pass as she gets around Nielson right here.
I believe that's- Yeah, that Yeah, sorry.
Nielson right here, and then make her way up.
And this was a good fight for second place right there.
These girls are going at it, but you had Lachlan.
She was so far out front.
Yeah.
Looked good up here.
And this checkered flag, she comes back and wins.
Moto two revs up.
Gates down.
Good jump for Turner.
Not a hole shot, though.
She gets pushed back.
Is that maybe McCutcheon there on the Kawasaki able to get out front?
Yeah, it looks like it.
It looks like Herrick, she, she was able to get to the first corner pretty up there, but she went a little wide, and then as you said, it's McCutcheon out front.
Now, the difficult part for these ladies is look how different this racetrack is compared to what it was yesterday.
So it's hard for them to make any kind of change and set the bike up 'cause the racetrack is way different, but it's good to see McCutcheon out front.
And Piper Bell second, and shout out to the versatile Brandi Richards there on the 198.
She's battling for the GNCC title.
She has carried Team USA at the international Six Days Enduro, but she's pretty fast on a motocross track also, and she's third.
See the girls behind.
It looks like Charlie Cannon a couple of positions behind Lachlan.
Well, compared to yesterday, Turner was already making moves at this point.
It's gonna be a little tougher today.
There she is on the inside of Herrick.
Quick pass.
Oh, and almost goes down.
Yeah, and I mean, I think if I'm Lachlan, I'm just gonna, you know, try to stay up and, and let this race go, 'cause she knows she has speed, but as she said yesterday, she only knows one way to ride- Yep and that's just fast, and that's what she does.
So for her, she'll try to continue to move her way up.
But we've seen a couple times this year where she's made some mistakes in these opening parts of the moto, so for her, just keep it on two wheels and eventually you'll make your way up.
Now it's got to deal with Richards.
That will be for third as McCutcheon tries to get away.
Cannon's back in seventh.
Young rider out of Nevada.
Gonna be outside to inside here.
McCutcheon fights, but Lala Turner to the lead.
Yeah, that was actually a pretty good move by Lachlan right there because she kind of, you know, moved over a little bit and just made, McCutcheon hesitate, so she had to back out of it.
Lachlan got that line, and let's see what she can do here.
See if she tries to square up.
Turner on the Altus Yamaha.
Moving as she- And- should have the momentum.

Be down the inside.
Ooh, hold onto it.
Bounced off the side of the track and makes the pass, and that will be for the overall podium as well.
You see it just flip there with the pass.
So what a comeback for the rookie.
Four and a half seconds to go.
Actually a battle for fourth still.
Yeah, that is Jordan Jarvis, James catching McCutcheon.
Jarvis got the green gear.
McCutcheon on the green bike.
On the inside, almost made it happen.

Yeah, so close there for Jordan Jarvis.
Now, Jordan's coming off of a whole lot of racing in Canada, Loretta Lynn's, and actually tonight she's gonna be driving all the way back up as she's getting closer to Taylor there.
Driving all the way to Canada to compete in the championship as well.
She's leading the points, and she's hoping to get the job done in Canada.
Yeah, that's been a lot of those Saturday race here, Sunday race there for Jarvis trying to win that title.
This would be huge for Jarvis.
I think it would flip it back to where she would've been the overall podium instead of Herrick.
You know Robbie, who pointed at all-time fastest at this track, and I'm sure he gave, Bayla some tips.
Yeah, Robbie Renard used to be my favorite rider coming up.
Wow, okay.
Yeah, I love the skills of a Kawasaki number 22.
Good stuff for him.
So she's getting a lot of help and getting it from Robbie.
Good stuff.
All right, that's Herrick in third.
Now you see the 51 of Nielson.
Two different motos this year have come undone with bike problems while running in a podium spot.
Good to see Hannah Hodges giving it a shot.
Hannah Hodges running ninth.
Really never got a chance to race pro.
The series didn't exist really when she was coming out of the amateur ranks, so she's always focused on those races, Loretta Lynn's and, events like that.
But Hannah jumping back into it, giving it a shot today in the triumph.
She's ninth.
Back to the leader.
3.4 is the gap.
Time running out for Cannon, but she's giving it a run.
Yeah, a lot better ride from Charlie this moto.
A lot closer.
And as I said earlier, she's been really good in these second motos all year long, so got to think maybe a rougher racetrack.
I'm not really sure, but she's figuring it out and just that opening part of Lachlan, that opening speed, that's, that's the difference between this race, 'cause otherwise Charlie's been maybe a little bit faster.
They've been the same, but it's costly.
Lala Turner looking to bring this one home.
Battle with Cannon for the Australian title, battled her for this championship a year ago, battling her for the title this year.
This is a big step.
She had a seven race win streak dating back to last year snapped at the last one at High Point when she fell while leading.
And now the win streak could be one in a row, 'cause here it comes.
Lala Turner one-ones it at Unadilla.
One, Lala.
Cannon, a big charge at the end.
Wasn't able to get there, and you can see the frustration.
Felt she had the speed.
And Bayla Herrick, the rookie, is gonna complete the job this time at her debut at High Point.
Won the first moto, crashed out early in moto two.
This time she's gonna put it on the overall podium.
Yeah.
And there's Cannon will rally in both motos to finish second.
Had a crash yesterday and the bad start today, but she will lose six championship points.
Bayla Herrick, first career podium for her.
Her and Jarvis tied on the day.
Tie goes to the better second moto.
McCutcheon, Bell, Honda.
Richards, great job for Ms.
Versatility there taking eighth over Hodges and Phillips.
Yeah, some determination there in the voice of Charlie Cannon.
She needs wins because that 12 point gap with four motos to go.
Still in it, but gonna need to rally.
And look at that battle for third.
Jarvis, Nielson, McCutcheon, all within just a handful of points for third in the series.
And Bell lurking in sixth.
And again, four motos to go, so we'll see who ends up with that spot when it's all over.
