Nfl insider Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report revealed what needs to happen for the Cleveland Browns this season for the team to have a promising passing offense entering the twenty twenty-seven season.
It's essentially up to Deshaun Watson or Shador Sanders to take a big step this season, and one of them guys has to reveal themselves as a franchise caliber quarterback.
The Browns, of course, are going to use training camp and preseason action to determine who QB one will be.
Watson and Sanders will both get chances to start in the preseason.
Cleveland head coach Todd Monken revealed on Wednesday that Deshaun Watson will start the preseason opener against the Bears, while Sanders will start preseason game number two against the Buffalo Bills.
Definitely gonna be intriguing to see who wins this quarterback battle.
You know, some people think Watson is gonna win, some people think Sanders is gonna win.
So it's definitely gonna be a fascinating battle between both of these guys.
Most Browns fans want Sanders to start since Watson has been terrible since he got traded to Cleveland, and he, of course, had those off-the-field issues that we're not gonna really get into.
And, you know, Sanders is younger, you know, so the Browns might as well use an entire season, to evaluate him to determine whether he can be a franchise quarterback or if Cleveland needs to draft somebody in twenty twenty-seven.
