Well, I bet it felt good to shake hands tonight, Jacob.
You look at this team, and obviously the losing streak that they've been on, it just felt like you needed a win.
You guys are down early.
You get the first hit of the night.
Talk about the mentality of stringing some offense together.
Yeah.
You know, that was, that was a big win for us.
You know, we've been going through it there for a little bit.
You know, coming out against these guys, they're hot right now, you know, had a win streak going for them.
And, you know, offense did a great job today.
Jumpy went out there, did his thing.
Guy's throwing 99 in the sixth inning, you know, it's, it's impressive to watch.
Be able to play, play defense behind him.
But, you know, I think everybody did great today.
You know, it's a good team W, and, we're gonna take that and keep rolling.
And I think it's, in terms of team W, it's gotta feel good to watch Gage Jump go out and do what he did, 11 punch outs.
Talk about the mentality when it comes to having runners in scoring position, two outs, being able to capitalize and keep that line moving in big spots against a very hot Red Sox team.
Yeah.
I mean, they're rolling out guys that are dealing.
You know, they're, they got a good, pitching staff, good offense.
They're, they're a good team.
And, you know, the boys came out today, swung a little bit better than we did, you know, the past couple days.
And, you know, we're just gonna keep going, keep working, and, you know, con- hopefully continue to get some Ws.
Final thing, you tie the record, 110 games now consecutive without an error in the field.
What does that number mean to you?
Yeah.
You know, it's a lot of hard work, you know, that we put in.
You know, going in the off-season, this past one, and then going to spring training.
You know, working a lot on, you know, just talking about, you know, defense with Bobby Crosby and just working with him as much as we can and getting ready, you know, to go out there and play defense every day.
You know, I'm trying to do my best to have our pitchers' back each and every day.
And, you know, I think as a, as a defense as a whole, we've all been doing that great lately.
So, you know, we're gonna keep going, keep working, and, you know, come out tomorrow strong.
