Jacobs released from jail after arrest

Josh Jacobs was arrested on Tuesday, five different charges.
But there's a difference between being arrested and being charged.
We talked about this yesterday.
I lamented the fact that Stefon Diggs was put through a full prosecution all the way to a verdict when it was obvious, based upon the cross-examination of the alleged victim, that case never should have been brought.
Statement issued yesterday by the prosecutor in Wisconsin pointing out that there's a difference between probable cause to arrest and, and sufficient proof beyond a reasonable doubt to convict.
They have yet to decide whether or not they're going to charge Josh Jacobs, and this is a huge issue, especially for a guy who has a job that likely will result, if he's charged with a felony by a prosecutor, he's gonna be put on paid leave and not allowed to work.
So I applaud the prosecutors for doing a fair, proper, and judicious review of the facts before they make a decision.
Assuming they are gonna do it, and this isn't just an excuse for brushing it all under the rug.
I assume they are going to do a proper investigation.
So that's what's gonna happen.
He was released from jail.
He wasn't charged yet, and the investigation continues, Chris.
Yeah, it, it's a, it's a dicey situation.
We'll, we'll see where it goes.
I mean, we know these are serious accusations, so I'm glad they are gonna investigate it or, or do the right thing here.
I mean, when you talk about strangulation and suffocation, yeah, that, that's, that's real deal right there.
So, again, we'll see.
And, and like we've talked about before, these things, when you get into the law and everything there, they're, they're dicey situations.
But for the Green Bay Packers, we know he's an important part of their football team, and yeah, they're gonna have to kind of wait and see how this plays out and kind of be sitting on the edge of their seat here with this whole situation.
And so now we just wait and see.
And there's some stuff that's trickled out.
I think WTMJ had some reporting with maybe some of the audio from 911 calls and some of the accounts- Oh, wow.
Yeah with the neighbor who heard the disturbance.
And so we- we'll see.
We'll see, we'll see what the facts are.
But look, I want the allegations to have a fair opportunity to be advanced and investigated, and Josh Jacobs has rights, and Stefon Diggs' rights were trampled on.
We saw it play out.
If Josh Jacobs is guilty, he needs to be prosecuted, he needs to be punished, there needs to be a consequence.
Right now, and this is true of a lot of these situations, if you don't have an eyewitness in the home, if you don't have corroborating evidence coming from the situation, it comes down to one versus the other.
And we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll just see what the evidence is, and it's good the prosecutor's doing that.
