This is Carter Brooks of The Hockey News with a Post-game report following the Winnipeg Jets' 4-3 home win over the New Jersey Devils.
On Sunday afternoon, the Jets picked up their second straight win.
After dropping 11 in a row, they did it over another struggling club.
Sunday's game against New Jersey saw two strong goal-creating shifts from Cole Perfetti.
Who picked up primary assists on goals from Jonathan Toews and Gabe Vilardi.
Both Toews and Tanner Pearson picked up goals in back-to-back games for Winnipeg.
While Connor Hellebuyck collected his first win since November 13th.
Alex Iafallo had the other goal for Winnipeg, his first of the game.
Manitoban Cody Glass scored twice for the Devils.
In front of what he figured was roughly 30 to 40 family members and friends in attendance.
Next up for Winnipeg is the final test of the five-game homestand.
A stretch that sees the Jets play five times in just eight nights.
They will face the New York Islanders on Tuesday night at 7:00 from Canada Life Centre.
