Where will Jonathan Kuminga go?

A month into NBA free agency, Jonathan Kuminga is still available as an unrestricted free agent on the market.

The former Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks forward has shown flashes of brilliance, but still remains unsigned.

Brett, which teams are in on Jonathan Kuminga, and which team makes the most sense for him to sign with?

There have been two teams at the front of the line for Jonathan Kuminga.

That is the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Out of the two of them, the team that makes the most sense to me are the Lakers, not only because he would have Luka Doni and Austin Reaves as his primary passers, but he would have a sure-thing starting spot in the Lakers lineup next to those two stars.

And quite honestly, being on the receiving end of passes from Luka Doni and Austin Reaves may just be the best thing for Jonathan Kuminga at this stage in his career.

Although the Cavaliers still have a path to landing him, they have not been willing to add any draft capital in a sign-and-trade that would involve either Dennis Schrder or Max Strus.

Where Jonathan Kuminga ends up remains a mystery, but the Lakers stand out as one of his top destinations.
