LeBron informs Lakers he is moving on next season
Grant Liffmann reacts to LeBron James' decision to hit the free agent market and not return to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2026-27, but his interest in potential suitors remains to be seen.

Well, obviously that's some shocking news we just saw with reportedly that LeBron James is not gonna be playing with the LA Lakers next season.
And, that is a very big deal because it signals to a few teams that they have a chance to actually get LeBron James, the first and foremost is the Golden State Warriors.
From everything I'm told, the Warriors have no idea yet if he's wanting to go to them or willing to play for them.
The Golden State Warriors are obviously very interested in them, and it just so happens the Warriors brass is in LA right now.
And, i- apparently was unrelated to LeBron, they were planning to do it, all along.
But at the same time, I mean, it is pretty convenient the Warriors are now in LA, potentially able to talk with LeBron.
Some other teams that have been mentioned in the past, obviously a return to Cleveland.
Miami's, team, that has come up a few times.
Some people have thought about maybe the Clippers just being in LA.
But really Golden State ends up being potentially the best option for LeBron to really compete alongside, Steph Curry, who he has become close friends with, and as well as, Draymond Green, who he has been close with for over the years.
So a lot more to come.
A lot of speculation gonna be happening, but from everything I've been told, none of the teams that could be interested in him have any idea if he's wanting to play with them.
it has just been made clear, in reports that LeBron doesn't wanna be with the Lakers next season, and that is really all we know so far.
But we can, very much assume, and it is assured, that the Warriors will absolutely throw their name in there a- and try to land LeBron James.
With Draymond Green opting out of his deal, it has opened up the possibility of creating the full non-taxpayer mid-level exception, which is a big deal obviously.
that's more than other teams can give, potentially the ones that have been rumored, to try to acquire him.
So all that is, is happening right now.
