Willis was a very productive, backup quarterback for Jordan Love over the last couple of seasons.

When Love missed a few games, Willis came in and the offense didn't really skip a beat.

He was able to be very efficient, and he added a new element to the Packers offense due to his rushing ability, and that made it tough for defenses to adjust even when Love was out of the game.

So with Willis now following Jeff Hafley, the Packers defensive coordinator who became the Dolphins head coach, and John Eric Sullivan, who came from the Packers front office to become the Dolphins general manager, Green Bay will now be in search of their next backup quarterback, and that is a position that is really key for the Packers as, Love has missed some time over the last couple of seasons.

overall in his career, he's been pretty durable.

He still played most of the games, in those years, but it's important to have that backup quarterback, particularly one who can run and has a strong arm like Willis.

If you have that, it's tough for defenses to adjust.

So Green Bay will now have to attack, that position of need, whether it's through a trade, free agency, or the draft to, replace Willis, who was very productive these last two seasons.
