This guy is gonna get paid, and he's earned it.

He deserves it.

What a just a story he's been, right?

Malik Willis coming out of Liberty as a third-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans.

So he was, number eighty-six overall in that twenty twenty-two NFL Draft.

The Titans took him as a project, and the, the funny thing is they didn't have the, I guess the word you could say is patience, right?

They didn't have the patience, and that's something that the Packers have continually shown throughout their history is they have the patience to develop these q-- I mean, that's how you can go from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers, and then maybe from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love at a high level.

I think the, the book in its totality is still out on Love, but what we've seen at his highest level is that he's a top five to ten NFL quarterback.

A-and if you think about it, the odds that he was anywhere near being good were so low.

So the Packers have a method in place, right?

And Willis is just the latest quarterback to be, to be brought up by them.

And, he's gonna be a free agent this off-season.

The Packers really can't pay him what he deserves.

He's gonna wanna find a starting job somewhere.

He's gonna wanna make starting money, and, frankly, again, he deserves it.

He's played great in these, these last two games when he came in, one for, for, Jordan Love when he went down in concussion-- with a concussion against the Bears, and then he played great against the Ravens.

I mean, he, he looked like a starter out there, and you're looking at a guy who can use his, legs to get touchdowns, but also he's got a good arm, and he's, he's showing the ability to, to read defenses, make big-time throws, and that's what you look for in starting quarterbacks.

So credit to Malik Willis.

He's gonna be a free agent.

He's gonna get a lot of money.

He's gonna be a starter somewhere, and he's earned an opportunity.

Good for him.
