Chasing Kwan back, oh, way back, and he reaches out- Oh and he makes a fantastic catch.

Oh.

Steven Kwan showing off the gold.

The Guardians have the bases loaded with nobody out.

And Hoskins foul tips it for strike three.

So three pitches, and Manaea takes care of the struggling Hoskins.

And a chase for strike three.

Martinez going way out of the strike zone.

Rookie second baseman Travis d'Arnaud.

Much as the Mets have worked Ewing and Benge into everyday roles as rookies, he grounds into a force play, and Manaea escapes a bases loaded, nobody out jam to get through the first.

Play Robert on the corner, but Torres hits one in the air pretty deep to right field.

Adell going back on the warning track at the wall.

It's out of here.

Oh.

Luis Torres with an opposite field three-run homer.

And the Mets cash in the two out error.

Torres's third home run of the year, and it's 3-0 New York.

Like that.

And he's got himself a base hit.

Around second goes Rocchio.

The throw across the diamond by Benge.

He might get him.

And he is out at third base.

Carson Benge guns one down.

What a seed from right field by Benge to get Rocchio at third to end the inning.

Bobichon leads off in the third inning.

He clunks one to deep left field.

Forget that.

That is way back out into the stands and gone.

An enormous home run off the bat of Bobichon.

His 11th of the year, and the Mets' second home run of the night.

It's 4-0 New York.

Martinez pulls one toward the left field corner.

That's a fair ball off the wall.

That'll bring in Adell.

DeLauder to third, and he slides in safely.

A double for Angel Martinez to get the Guardians on the board.

It's now 4-1. Who are both state of the art.

Oh.

That's another base hit for Torres.

I don't know why Semien held up with two out.

He's gonna try and score anyway.

The throw is cut off, and Semien scores, and Torres has four RBIs.

Nate Lavender, who's most of the last two years coming back from Tommy John surgery, 34 games in the minor league this year, and now finally at age 26, the University of Illinois product makes his big league debut.

Got him looking.

Ooh.

Fast ball right there, and Lavender strikes out his first batter in the big leagues to strand a pair.

Family pumped.

And Benge flies one to center field.

That's well hit.

Kwan going back, looking at the wall, and it's out of here.

Carson Benge with a long home run over the 19-foot fence just to the left of center field.

12th home run of the year.

451 feet off the bat of Carson Benge.

The Mets' third home run of the night to make it 6-2.

Again, the 3-2 coming to Lowe.

Popped it up into shallow left.

Waiting for it to come down is Ewing.
