Oregon vs. Boise State: Can the Underdog Surprise Again?

Oregon taking on Boise, and Boise's been like that giant killer.
Yeah.
Maybe not as good and you know, now new, former Pac-12 member versus a current Pac-12 member.
Uh- the number I'm seeing about 24.
It's, I think it's been up to 24 and a half.
I don't know if it's been lower than 24.
But Boise was always a team that was good for an upset or at least to keep some of these games- Yeah close in the past.
Do they still have that potential taking on a pretty darn talented Oregon team?
Yeah.
I This one is, is really interesting because I always wonder, like Dan Lanning's kind of one of those bully types, and you remember last year when Gundy made the comments before Oklahoma State- Oh yeah .
Played Oregon and I was like, "Oh this is gonna get ugly," and it did, right?
And even think back to when they beat the brakes off of Colorado in the first year of Prime and the, the clip went viral of him, I forget what the line was, it was like, you know, "They're here for clicks, we're here for wins" or something like, I can't remember exactly what it was.
I don't think there's bullets and board material per se for Oregon against Boise State this weekend.
That said, the last time these two teams played it was three point game, right?
That was the Ashton Jeanty game.
And that was right down to the wire and Oregon really was on the ropes against Boise State.
So I think Boise, excuse me, Oregon is going to be very focused and very, cognizant of how good Boise State has been historically.
And I'll say this about, you know, Boise.
They went to South Bend last year, lost 28-7 I think was the final score.
This isn't your vintage Boise State team.
They're good.
They're the favorite to win the Pac-12.
We'll see if they, they get it done but I, I do think they, I think the gap is, is growing between a Boise State and an Oregon, a Boise State and elite teams.
You know, we saw that in the playoff two years ago when they played Penn State and they had a, an all world all time player in Ashton Jeanty in their backfield.
So they got veteran quarterback in Maddox Madsen, but I, I would actually be favorite or pass here.
I have not laid the chalk, but I would actually look a little bit towards Oregon.
I think they could put a statement on the board in week one here
