A little off?
What was, what was kind of going on there with you?
Yeah, you know, felt good in the bullpen, everything was good.
mechanics felt good, and then it was like as soon as I got out on the mound, it was like couldn't really feel anything.
Don't know if it was, you know, the adrenaline rush after being off for about a week, but was struggling to find the mechanics getting in that first inning, and was able to make the adjustment in the second inning and kind of get some, get something rolling there.
But, you know, wasn't able to execute like I wanted to tonight.
Is there a way to describe what was going on with the mechanics?
basically just, like, not feeling it.
Was, you know, wasn't able to tell which direction my lower body was going in, hands were late, and so I wasn't able to really figure that out.
And then we were able to talk about it in the dugout after the first and was able to identify some things, and was slowly starting able to feel those.
Can you describe at all what adjustments you made?
just trying to stay tall, trying to stay in the legs, get the direction going the right way, get the hands moving a little bit quicker.
Just trying to keep the pace the same throughout the whole mechanics.
Felt like we were, looked like it was a little slow when trying to go fast, and so we were just trying to get it all timed up on right.
You know, the last night, obviously, Logan coming off the IL doesn't get too deep into the game.
Tonight, your pitch count was up so much.
How, kind of, how do you look at that kind of, sort of frustrating with the pitch count climbing?
Oh, absolutely.
Absolutely.
You know, I take the, take that upon myself to be a guy that goes as deep into the game as possible.
I try to go six innings plus every time and, you know, not being able to do that tonight is a big failure on my part.
You know, I gotta get back on it and get, get going and, you know, hopefully not let that happen again.
