PL Update: Wolves beat Aston Villa for second win

Time now for your Premier League update.
Welcome inside the studio, Paul Burmeister, alongside Tim Howard and Danny Higginbotham.
Last time at home, Wolves against league-leading Arsenal drew.
On Friday, they welcome third place Aston Villa, and Danny, they were ready for the challenge.
Yeah, it was.
It was an early chance for, for Aston Villa, just as the game got going.
One of the very few times that they were able to use the width of the pitch, and it's a good effort from Douglas Luiz.
Comfortable enough save from Sa, but you just see the numbers of the game if you're watching.
Aston Villa didn't do enough of all evening is in terms of getting the ball out wide.
But then you look- Yeah, second half now.
Time for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Man of the Match.
Yeah, and it was, it was a wonderful goal, this was, because I thought as the game went on, Wolves were getting better and better.
And Joo Gomes gets himself in a great position, a wonderful finish, but just look at it from the start.
He's the one that starts the play.
He gets the ball, plays it out wide, but then he just continues his run.
Then he just tracks his run, and he gets in between the midfield and the defense of Villa, just in the right place at the right time to take advantage of the touch from Olsson and finds the back of the net.
It's a wonderful finish.
Good finish, good celebration.
But Villa was gonna have their turn.
They made some substitutions.
Those substitutions bore fruit, and you see Mings in here, just shifts it out of his feet, tries to get a yard of space, thinking maybe could take it early just here.
But he makes a yard of space and ends up getting a clean shot.
Jos Sa's equal to it in the Wolves goal.
And then this, he would also be, again, match-winning save.
This is the type of things you dream of as a goalkeeper.
Ball comes through, it ricochets to Onana.
He's got an open goal, but Jos Sa does everything right.
See the long throw.
Wolves don't do a great job of getting out.
They leave two in, which keeps Onana onside, and Jos Sa, brave, big, spreads himself, and just sort of hits the under part of his arm and allows Mascarenh to clear the ball and keep it out as, as with the clean sheet.
And then down the other end, Man picks out the right pass to Joo Gomes, a goal scorer.
Gets blocked, and then Rodrigo Gomes does the, the rest.
Just swivels on it.
Villa can't get back.
This is the break.
It's the right pass.
Villa are trying.
They're trying to get bodies around it.
Now they're in desperation mode, and they're scrambling.
They're n-not able to cover the goal.
Emi Martnez can't keep it out.
And cue bedlam.
Rob Edwards, the moment of faith will see all three points.
Joy at home for Wolves.
On the other side, though, Aston Villa awfully happy February is nearly over.
They played five Premier League matches this month, but only won one time, scored only three goals in the process, and losing at last place Wolves today arguably the worst result of this disappointing run.
Top half, another disappointing day for Villa.
Failed to pick up any points at Wolves.
That leaves them vulnerable in third place.
Man United could go ahead of Villa with a win on Sunday.
In that top two, Man City are five points back of Arsenal in first and could cut that gap to two points, at least temporarily, if they beat Leeds United tomorrow.
And in the bottom half, Wolves picked up just their second win this season today and are up, up to 13 points, although they're still 14 points from safety.
Burnley ahead of them in 19, with West Ham getting closer to Forest in this regulation, or the relegation race.
Only two points separate those two clubs in 17th and 18th.
