Last year, last week of the season, you and I were talking in the locker room about coming back and you didn't hide the fact you wanted to be here.
You, you wanted to be part of a rebuilding, getting the Raiders back to where they were.
I know we talked there, but make it public.
So some of those things you talked about what made it special for you to be back, man, it's the family, it's the people in the, it's the people in the organization.
Like I can report to Ashley.
It's like people.
Feel like that to where like it's, it's like a big family here to where it's hard, it's, it's hard not to leave here to where like you feel loved, you feel welcome, you feel from the energy from everybody in the building, it's just pretty much contagious to where something to where you wanna build with you wanna grow with you see the direction everybody going with and you just and you love it, you're just so happy with it so like everything else is just easy to flow.
You were the loudest cheerleader on Dermont's plate, and is that part of the family just.
Rooting onto your younger brothers, man, heck yeah.
Like I wanna be there for everybody, good, bad, ugly.
It doesn't matter.
Like I'm gonna, like I'm gonna be there.
I'm gonna go ahead and be your best friend.
I'm gonna be your whatever.
Like, man, I'm gonna, I'm, I'm pretty much gonna rock with you, win, lose or draw.
I'm gonna be in your corner because you're my brother.
I know everything we done put through all of the blood, sweat, and tears.
Like, man, nah.
So when Sunday come, I don't care about who in front of us, who out there.
I know for a fact that you're gonna have my back.
Like I got your back.
How much of a difference is it coming back for year two being a leader on this team than coming back, coming over last year and proving yourself that you earned a spot as a leader on it, man, it feels good.
It feels different to where, like, I know for a fact the people in the building, everybody around me trust me and all that stuff at all, but like this is a big family.
Like it , it just ain't me, it's all of us.
It's Max.
It's Quaid, it's Nicobe.
It's even the people in office.
It's Kurt, everybody who's leading all that stuff.
Like it's just not me.
It's, it's a big old family here.
