We've seen a broad flash against the Raiders defense throughout training camp, but we saw a couple of plays from him today.

Just what's it like to see him, you know, continue success against another opponent?

He's one of the leaders on our team, so he rose to the occasion today, and we expect him to continue to do so and keep getting better.

Do you expect the first team to play on Thursday?

Uh, we'll see.

Um, uh, a lot's made of the, a lot's made of the, the Texans defensive line , but they've got a pretty solid secondary as well.

How do you see how the receivers went against the, the secondary today?

I got to go watch the film, you know, uh, I got to go see, see how we did, but, uh, yeah, very good team, very good opponent, you know, we need all the, all the work, all the press we can get.

What, what kind of rhythm do you feel like Kirk is in up to this point in the camp and Virginia?

Yeah, I, I feel like, like him, Fernando, I feel like Ayn are all playing really good football.

You know, I told you guys that all three of those guys are starters in this league, um, so they just got to make sure that we continue to climb and get better, you know, um.

You know, we ended the day with a turnover, which is you got to put points on the board before half.

So as far as that goes, that's, that's a disappointment.

But he knows that he's a veteran and we'll go learn from it as a team .

What's it like for you to be back here in Houston?

You've got a lot of connections.

We saw you talking with D'Amico pre-practice.

Your, your dad, obviously, just what's it like being back, back here?

It's just such a blessing to get to coach in the NFL and to come back here.

Where my dad coached and I saw so many practices, um, it was a really cool feeling, but very quickly erased all those feelings and just got right to practice, you know, and so think of the warm and fuzzy stuff later.

Will the, uh, will the film affect your decision on playing time Thursday?

Yes.
