Where you guys are, I, I know as a coach you can never become comfortable this far through camp, is there anything that you're pleasantly surprised by, something maybe you didn't expect to be as far as you are?

Uh, I think we just have a professional group of players, you know, they care about getting better.

You know, we don't have any turds.

We got guys that that wanna be here, that wanna win, that wanna change their place.

You know I was gonna, you know what happened to Mike in the air.

Yeah, he just bust his nose open.

He'll be all right.

OK.

The 3 running back is their contribution to special teams, the tiebreaker for that?

Absolutely.

Those guys, uh, you know , whoever the 2nd and back is, those guys have to be core teams players for us, um, and when you're evaluating them in the draft, you got to take that into account.

So I know that that does a great job of, of getting us guys that can.

You mentioned Hezekiah Massey.

I want to see what it looked like when the pads came on.

I know it's only been one day, but what did you see early in the war?

I didn't notice them.

There hasn't been a threw it over his head though.

There hasn't been a player here who hasn't talked about culture all week.

How, how do you define it because they say it's better.

How do you?

Yeah, well, I think it's really important that it's, it's those guys that define it.

There's things we talk about in team meetings, but words are, are really just, they're just words, you know, so I think the most important thing is we go watch our tape and then we talk about what is acceptable and what is not, what effort looks like, what it doesn't look like, and then we let the players go accept that standard.

So, uh, it's their game, not ours.
