Coach, you've had a few months to call Las Vegas home, but have you and your family had the opportunity to really experience this community?

Yeah, we have, we have, uh.

Really, uh, Ever, ever since I got here, it's been, it's been such an impressive place to be, you know, I'm really proud to, to be a part of this community and, you know, I'm really looking forward to working, working my tail off with our staff to, to earn a spot in this community.

So, I got a lot of work to do there .

Do you have a favorite part about training camp?

Anything specific?

Um, You know, the, the thing that I love about football is, is teaching the players and building relationships, and when you're with the guys 11 hours a day is what the league gives you.

Uh, you can't help but, but build great relationships, you know, you can't hide from each other.

Um, those are the things that you love about, about being a coach.

So, um, during, during training camp, there is no wins and losses, you know, there's a lot less, uh, pressure that way for the players, but, uh, there is a lot of great time to get to know each other.

And uh that's what stands out.

You , you've told us a couple of times leading, you know, leading up to this that your preference is to have a rookie watch a veteran quarterback, but do you, do you categorize that as a competition?

Is it Kirk is the starter with, you know, the other guys trying to catch him?

Like, I guess, how do you categorize that, yeah, um.

You know, for every position, it's, there's got to be competition, right?

The best player has to play.

And that's not just what I'm gonna see, you guys are gonna see in the preseason games, you know, we as coaches, uh, we're gonna see who's the best guard is, OK, the best quarterback, um, across the board.

There's, there's battles everywhere on the roster.

So, um, it's important for me to be fair to the players is to put the best player out there.
