Courtesy, go ahead, go ahead, uh, for you, um, going into your first training camp as a head coach, what are your emotional likes and how are you feeling about, you know, being in this position and on to complete a new role?
Just folks that, I mean, it's, it's obviously that I'm in a new role, but it's a, it's a we thing .
Our coaching staff is making sure that, that we're on our stuff so that we're the best versions of ourselves for these players, and we can be great teachers and, uh, give these guys the information they need to have and put them through the stresses that we believe they'll see in, in the game so that the game.
You know, is not as hard as practice.
So it's just, uh, it's more about our staff working together with the scouts, with this training staff, and being on the same page for these players.
Outside of this building, obviously, being the number one overall pick, Fernando gets a lot of attention, but Signetti said that what set him apart to him was his willingness to prepare.
Before the game.
Was that one of the things that really stood out to you as you went through the evaluation process is that willingness to prepare, again, he's not Tom, he's a rookie, but you heard the same things about Tom.
Uh, yeah, I think, I think that's what you expect out of a quarterback.
And Um, just because someone says they work hard, there's totally different levels to that, and I would say in the evaluation evaluation process that he stood head and shoulders above others that have been around, um, that doesn't guarantee you anything on Sunday.
So it gives a, it's a head start, um, gives him a great chance to go have a heck of a practice, but it's really what he does on the field, which is what's gonna decide his fate and Um, but the way that he prepares in the meeting room is what you want.
