Your group has been one of the primary ones responsible for covering Brock Bowers in camp so far.
Just what's so difficult about how he is as a receiver as a guard?
You know, he's challenging.
He's a bigger body, um, and he's smooth at the top of the route, and that, and that's where tight ends in this league kind of get an advantage because they're not, you know, the defense at the disadvantage.
Advantage, you know, because they're nudging and they, that's where they're allowed to create space and that's all you need.
All you need is a little bit of space and, um, uh, you know, you put it on Brock, he's, he's gonna catch it.
So, you know, it's a challenge for us.
There's a lot of other, uh, great tight ends in this league, great slot receivers that we're gonna have to cover at times.
So it's great work, um, for us here.
We just got to continue to, you know, get, get better at it.
What is the main attitude you say that is that?
Um, I, I, I think they're just, you know, you're feeling the, feeling the pressure of, you know, um, you know, we got to play fast, we gotta play aggressive, but we got to know what to do and be, you know, disciplined in the back end so the ball doesn't go over our heads.
Uh, but we got to be able to trust our eyes and then go make plays because this league is all about the ball.
You take the football away, one, you make yourself, you make yourself some money, all right?
And then you win games because of the turnover ratio.
Robbie's in this role for the first time as as a DC.
What have you seen from him as a guy kind of running the, the show now?
His, his leadership, um, you know, has been great.
I think, you know, his messaging a lot always follows style of play above all else, and, uh, that's why he's super excited to see these guys in the past because now Underwear Olympics is over and now we can go play some real football.
And you know, hear the click clack tomorrow and uh especially as DBs, you know, everybody thinks interceptions, picks, PBUs, but you're gonna be in a a position of block destruction and tackling way more than you will be, you know, um, making, you know, true plays on the ball, uh, you know, you're gonna have more tackles and more picks than PBU so uh you know that.
You know, that messaging of like style of play and hey being a physical defense and hey, when, when you come out here, everybody's expected to tackle, everybody's expected to go smash and stuff, so, you know, it exciting.
