At the end of the day, um, at this point I'm going into year 4.
I need to be a leader.
I need to be a leader, um, physically, mentally, uh, verbally.
Um, we got a great, great set of rookies that are coming in here, and they've been working their tail off.
And, um, at the end of the day, I need to be there for them just like there were people there for me when I was a rookie, and, um, you know, lead them and show them and push them the right way.
In your role, um, how else, how else do you envision?
Yeah, I think helping the team win in any way I can.
Um, I think being the best version of myself, you know, um, communicating out there, um, you know, we got a whole new offense this year.
That's not, that's not new news, but, um, there's a lot of communication.
And, uh, the more I communicate with the tackle, the more I communicate with Brock when I'm in there with him, with Ian when I'm in there with him, and even the quarterback, Kirk, Fernando, Aiden.
Uh, communication in this offense is very big, and I think that's something I've maybe slacked on the past couple of years.
So, um, when everybody's on the right page, uh, good things happen.
You're going into year 3, with, with Brock, uh, with Brock, year 4, but you're going into year.
Agree with your relationship with Brock, you know, we've seen how you're being used out there in this new offense.
How do you feel that your relationship on the field has grown?
Yeah, I mean, it's grown tremendously, um, you know, I just feel like we get closer and closer every single day together.
Um, I'm, I'm trying to get him out of his shell as much as I can.
Um, um, you know, we're, we both got engaged this summer, which is pretty cool.
Our both our fiances are really good friends, which is cool.
So we hang out a lot.
Um, we'll play golf when it cools down a little bit, but, um, you know, when you have a relationship like that off the field, it's pretty easy to have a great relationship on the field with somebody like that.
So we want the best for each other.
Um, we both want to be successful.
We both want.
Each other to be successful at the end of the day we want to win.
So it's not about who has what catches, who has what this and that.
We want to win.
Um , we're out there communicating with each other every single day just trying to get better.
When you, when you, when you guys are out there together, what kind of stress can that put on the defense?
Oh, I think it can a lot, yeah, I mean, I think we've, we've already seen it a little bit with our defense.
Um, uh, two big threats.
I mean, we could both block really well.
Um, I think, uh, you know, I think it's just gonna be an interesting season in terms of that.
I think we just got to keep working hard, keep our head down.
Um, you know, Clint's got a plan, whatever Clint's plan is for us, we're gonna, you know, we're gonna trust it and follow it, and we're going to, um, you know, do it to the best of our ability.
