What did you feel like was really working for you tonight?
you know, I feel like the, the two-seam, just a combination of all my pitches.
I feel like I w- was kind of unpredictable, tonight.
I feel like the two-seam was really good.
I got some early outs with it, some ground balls.
changeup was good.
I think, I think everything was just kind of playing really well off of, off of each other.
like the four-seam was really good, the four-seam up.
I was moving it around, up, down, in and out.
slider was good.
Curveball was really good.
just all around everything was kind of clear.
Does it kind of feel like you just kind of kept building and building?
It's, let's be honest- For sure.
you know, obviously the walks tonight, not ideal.
so, you know, that's something I need to work on.
But I feel like e- even though those walks happened, I was able to come back.
one time it was a double play, and typically to get the next guy.
I think, I think that, I think the two-seam is, is, helped out my arsenal.
Robbie, sometimes getting guys to the rubber bar just kind of mix it up a little bit.
I think everything tonight was like 15 to 25% pretty even.
What, what's kind of the emphasis there on, on making that many different five pitches?
I mean, I don't think it's gonna always happen that way.
but tonight I, it's just kind of the way it, it happened.
talking with Susak before the game, we kind of had a game plan going into it, and he did a great job today calling the game.
I think maybe I, I The shakes were all, kind of planned shakes.
and I think I maybe called like four or five pitches tonight.
So I think for the most part, you know, it was, it was kind of the game plan going in to mix it up and, we just kind of stuck with it.
I think your last outing, you did a lot of the game calling yourself.
What, what kind of changed in between there, or why did you go this way?
you know, I think, you know, it's just getting more comfortable with Susak.
you know, obviously it was, for the last game, it was adding the sinker.
It was the, kind of the first game I had thrown it all year, and so I was just trying to mix it in a little bit more.
You know, catchers, he, he's not necessarily comfortable calling that pitch when, when I'm comfortable throwing it.
And so I think that, you know, my previous outing I was, I was calling more sinkers, but this outing, you know, he was, he was on the same page the whole night calling the sinker and the four-seam and, and moving things around.
What was your mindset when, when the, when the defense make a mi- error that goes?
What, what is your mindset at that time?
you know, I'm just trying to pick up, pick up the guys when they make an error.
I, you know, it's, it, it's part of the game, it happens.
but I'm just trying to do my job to, to get the guys out and, try to pick those guys up.
I was kind of noticing that after that happened at the end of the inning, you gave him a big hug.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, it's, you know, he came and said that he was sorry and I was like, "Listen, I got you.
Like, we're good."
You and Jackie are, seem close.
Yeah.
You have fun, contribute together to the win.
For sure.
Yeah, I mean that ball he hit was, you know, it's, that's a tough part of the park to go out.
and he made some great plays in the field today too.
Other than the error, you know, he, the, the wind was, was playing tricks out there in the outfield.
So, you know, he made some really good plays out there too, so, it was really good to see.
