Saquon Barkley Expected Back From Hamstring Injury for Eagles vs. Cowboys

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is expected to return to practice Thursday and play Monday against the Cowboys. He hurt his hamstring in the Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and has missed the past two games. His return would give a lift to an offense playing without quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season with blood clots in his lungs. Philadelphia ranks 29th in rushing at 82.2 yards per game, with several running backs hurt and three of its five original offensive line starters gone because of a retirement, a trade and an injury. Barkley has 182 yards on 36 carries, an average of 5.1 per attempt.
