Well, good afternoon, Damon.

I think that if there were any doubts around Scottie Scheffler's season, he made quite the statement with his win last week by eight shots.

Rory McIlroy was just sitting down with the media.

He went as far to say as Scottie is his player of the year, especially if he continues to play this well over the next two tournaments in the playoffs.

But when I caught up with Scottie earlier, I asked him, "How nice is it to be able to answer a different line of questioning after the win last week?"

Yeah, yeah, that was, that was good.

Yeah, a lot, lot easier answering those questions than the other ones I've been answering this year.

But, yeah, it was a good week overall.

You know, I was proud of how I played throughout the whole week, and it was nice to, to have a really good Sunday and kinda, you know, be able to cruise the last few holes.

Mm-hmm.

Now that you've had some time to think about it, can you compare and contrast mechanically what you think the difference was last week?

Not really.

I just felt like, you know, I've been close for a while this year and, you know, had a good prep week at home the week before.

Mm-hmm.

And so I was excited to get out and, and play, and I had kind of a slow day on Thursday, but, you know, a really nice day on Friday to kinda heat things up, and then, you know, a pretty solid weekend.

Yeah.

So in that prep week, you mentioned that you did a lot of competition at home, not just grinding at the range.

What does competition at home look like, besides Siewoo?

Yeah, just playing games with my buddies, just getting out on the course.

I didn't feel like I needed to practice a whole bunch.

I felt like I was in a good spot with my swing, and, so I didn't really feel a need to just practice.

I felt like I could almost practice my way out of a good swing.

I found something that I liked and, just started using it on the course pretty much.

What are your impressions of Bellerive?

Good course.

In really good shape.

The greens are in unbelievable shape.

Long golf course.

It's a, it's, I think, in a pretty big contrast to last week, and, you know, I think that's one of the good things about our tour.

We see lots of different styles of tests, and last week was a golf course which was a little tighter.

Had to play a few, few more shots, and this is a, a bigger piece of property with some bigger greens, and, distance I think will be more of a factor this week.

And w- how would you describe playoff nerves versus the rest of the season?

I, I think you just want to finish off the, your year the right way.

You know, I've had some years on tour where I've had really good regular seasons and maybe underperformed a little bit in the postseason.

And, you know, maybe this is a year in which, it's kind of the opposite of that.

You know, that was kinda my motto going into last week, and just, I think you just wanna finish off the year kinda the right way.
