Michael Holley, I got a question for you.

One of the big items of news this week came from Philadelphia, where defensive tackle Jalen Carter, one of the finest defensive players in all of football, received a contract with a record-setting 38 million per year in new money.

Last night when I got back from my travels to Connecticut for NBC meetings, I obtained the full breakdown of the Jalen Carter contract.

Now, Howie Roseman, the GM of the team, had said they have no concerns off field about Jalen Carter.

But as I perused the various terms and conditions of the Jalen Carter deal, I saw something that I can't recall ever seeing in any other veteran contract.

Every year he has a $250,000 weight bonus.

Doesn't specify- Ooh what he has to weigh, doesn't specify when he has to weigh it, and hey, when you're making 38 million a year, 250,000 is a drop in the bucket, but it's still 250,000 that is specifically tied to him making weight.

Your thoughts as we land the plane.

Well, my thoughts this m- this summer, Mike, I'm glad he's the one with the weight bonus and not me- because I've been enjoying a lot of ice cream.

Cookies and cream.

Chris Simms.

So thank God- Chris Simms basically said the same thing it's you, Jalen Carter yesterday.

All right.
