TCU Horned Frogs discuss some of their leaders on the defense
TCU Horned Frogs Defensive Coordinator Andy Avalos discusses some of their leaders on the defense. Avalos points out DT Ansel Din-Mbuh, EDGE Paul Oyewale, LB Max Carroll. He talks about those players and building leadership.

It's football weather, huh?
Hey, coach, no takeaways yesterday, but I think you guys had like 4 or 5 today.
Can you just talk about Performance of Yeah, it's just one day at a time right now.
Each day just trying to grow and get a little bit better, um.
You know, there's some opportunities yesterday we didn't capitalize and so I think sometimes just showing the guys where those opportunities are and how we can be efficient in taking advantage of them, and they did a good job with that.
They played with great energy today.
Um, obviously there's things we're gonna go in there and watch film, we've got to clean up, come back later, watch film with them and walk through that stuff and get better.
That's part of the process.
We can't get tired of that, but it's fun to be able to go out there and we emphasize something, meetings and these guys go out there and get it done.
Also Good Yeah, 100%, um, we're very fortunate.
We, we had a, uh, a great group of talent and leadership, and that's, that's pretty special.
We were able to do some pretty cool things last year and will our way through some games and, and along the course of the season, and, you know, there's, there's plenty of guys that are here right now that got to be a part of that now too, and they get to step up and be the big brother that helps lead the family.
And we got guys like Anzel, you know, up front, Paul.
Guys like Max who's stepping in as a real leadership role as a mic linebacker and being able not not only on the field for these guys but obviously off the field and everything we do and what we grow of ourselves, uh, you know, what we've been doing since, since, uh, January and February and so, you know, JJ is a guy that's played a lot of football for us.
Angel's played a lot of football, so we have guys, but yes, we definitely lost some guys and it's a, it's an everyday opportunity to build that leadership as well as our.
You know , our camaraderie and, and our, our, uh, cohesiveness and how we execute on a consistent level, as much of all that is, is building that leadership that you're talking about that went on to the NFL.
