TCU Horned Frogs discuss some of their Offensive Lineman
TCU Horned Frogs Offensive Coordinator Gordon Sammis discusses some of their Offensive Lineman. Sammis talks about Offensive Lineman. Cooper Powers and Witten Van Hoy. He talks about how Powers is intelligent and how can play different positions. He talked about Van Hoy and how he is young but he is big and physical, he also talks about how how he has made improvements.

Ben Royal on the offensive line was the first steel.
What do you guys.
Yeah, um, really like Coop, um, I think he can play guard or center, super intelligent, um, Van Hoy's a younger guy, not very experienced, but it's really important to him.
He's big, he's physical, um, he's still learning kind of how to use his body a little bit here and there, but, um, just the improvements he's made from the spring, I'm really pleased with, um, and not to get it twisted, he's got a long way to go, obviously, um, I can remember being his age and I wasn't even near close to being ready, you know, but, um.
You know, if the team needs you, you gotta be ready to go and I think he understands that he's mature, it's important to him and so, um, he's, he's made a lot of progress.
Um, as I watch it, I think it's good enough.
Um, I mean for me it's always about getting 8, that you feel good about putting in the game, um, and I think, I think we'll get there, um, you know, time will tell.
We really haven't put pads on yet.
We've got 1 run scheme in currently.
Um, so we'll see when the pieces start moving and obviously as this thing goes we put more in, the defense puts more in, right?
So, um, it's multiple looks, it's multiple fronts.
What do you do when they twist, they stunt, they blitz, um, and the pieces are moving really fast, but, um, just from what I see physically and things like that, I think we'll we'll get to that number of 8.
I think, um, you know, God willing we stay healthy and all that, so I feel good enough if that makes sense, but there's still, I would say TBD, you know, just after 2 days.
