TCU Horned Frogs discuss how prepared they are for the season right now
TCU Horned Frogs Offensive Coordinator Gordon Sammis discusses how prepared they are for the season right now. Sammis talks about how at day two they are 50% ready but he said by practice five they will have enough to go play a game.

Um, Right now, day two, about I'd say we're about 50%.
I mean, for me.
Um, By practice 5.
We would have enough to go play a game if that makes sense, um, you know.
It may, it's not certainly not gonna be all of our scheme, but in terms of having our red zone plays, our 3rd down, 2 minute, um, our base core stuff, that'll all be in, um, so by practice 5, we could go out execute a game pretty much in every situation and do what we need to do.
Coach Sykes said yesterday he felt like Jaden was a little bit further along in his development.
Um, what, what are your thoughts from seeing him in OTAs this summer and just, I don't think he's thrown an interception the first couple of practices.
Um, yeah, so far, um, no, um, I think I, I agree with Coach Dykes, um, I, I think in this day and age, um, you know, with OTAs and things like that, um, you have a chance to get ahead if that makes sense, um, especially being somewhat new, um, you know, I'm, I'm pleased with his progress, um, he works really hard, I mean.
You know I'll walk into my office or we're meeting as a staff and he's in there in my office watching tape um he's just on it all the time um it's like coaching a guy kind of with a pro mentality and that's what he wants to be um so I think there's with the way he works, the way he studies, the way he's constantly thinking about football, I don't I I'm not surprised.
I'm pleased, very pleased, and I wouldn't necessarily be discouraged either because sometimes it takes time, but um with the way he works and how important it is to him I'm not shocked.
