Team USA World Cup Represents Changing of Guard

In real-time for Team USA, that is, is reason for increased interest.
No disrespect for the players who have gone out and won gold over and over and over again, but being representative of this new era, it's nice to see that for Team USA.
Obviously, Caitlin Clark won the MVP at the FIBA World Cup qualifying tournament in Puerto Rico.
It didn't really mean much for Team USA, but it was her first action back and she won the MVP.
She's there.
With that young and turn crew, Paige Beckers, uh, Angel Reese, of course, Aaliyah Boston playing now, and the new injury replacements, Kiki Iain and Sonja Citron, that makes for half the team being players who haven't been on this stage.
They have Team USA experience, but haven't been on this stage.
And that young and turn crew leading the way, I think is going to cause a lot of excitement around Team USA.
