Texas Rangers' Home Struggles: Can They Overcoe the Angels?
Despite being favorites, the Texas Rangers' inconsistent home performance casts doubt on their reliability. Can they overcome the LA Angels in this matchup?

But another offense I can't trust, Scotty, they barely won last night, and that's Texas.
Uh- Yeah they are at home, Gore on the mound against Detmers, and suddenly, I Listen, say what you want about the Angels, they still have th- that first five or six guys- Right in the order can still hit.
And believe it or not, the bullpen hasn't been terrible, over the last week.
And Detmers is fan- I thought he'd be on another team by now.
I thought he was one of the, the big trade targets, but Detmers on the road against Texas.
Is it an under?
Because I've seen nothing but under money coming in here today.
Yeah.
May- may be.
But th- that Texas team is usually a dead under team, especially at home, where you're thinking that ballpark, summer, the ball will be flying out of there.
But that, that just hasn't been the case.
And you're right that, you know, the Angels, you know, written off for dead, right?
You know, as a lot of these teams are, but then all the pressure's off them, they make all the trades, they get rid of some guys, and you know, actually, over the last two weeks, you know, th- they're pretty good.
What, five, six, seven They're eight and, they're eight and five.
They're- l- the last 13 games.
You know?
Th- that- that's nothing to, you know, to, to shake a stick at.
So again, you know, you look for live dogs sometimes, and man, I hate betting them.
I, I, I just do.
Oh, yeah.
But they played much better, so I, I'm not gonna lay It's only a buck 38, but, but Texas just, they're an enigma, right?
Just like Seattle, just like Houston- Yep like all the teams.
They, they just can't, you know, put good streaks together.
So, I, I would go with the Angels plus the 130.
I don't hate it.
Don't hate that at all here.
I d- I, just nothing about this Texas team, do I like- Yeah or find redeeming here right now.
It's unfortunate, but I'm not buying it there.
We talked about, you wanna talk about losing in epic fashion.
The, what the Reds did yesterday- Oh should be criminal.
Should be criminal the way they lost that game to the Cardinals with two outs in the ninth inning and a lead, and the guy drops a routine fly ball there.
But they get to shake it off and head to Arizona, who has one of their best players, doesn't show up for games, apparently.
Now he's on the IL, but he's also on a restricted list.
I Can the Diamondba- they should.
I, you know, I love Rodriguez at home against Lodolo here.
Diamondbacks should win this game.
But I, the Reds are just embarrassing at this point.

You know, the, why are they only a minus 140 or so favorite, Arizona at home, Joe?
That, that's what You, you 12 and four- No Marte Eduardo Rodriguez.
Is, is, is that it?
I mean, I mean, the dude's been great, you know, Rodriguez, he, he's had his issues off the field, but you know, he's had a terrific season.
He's got the fourth-most quality starts in baseball this year.
Crazy.

I, I, I don't know Marte, but they didn't have Marte yesterday when he put the 10, 11 runs on the board, whatever it was, against the Red Sox.
Um- Yeah that's kind of strange.

But again, I'll, I'll bite.
You know, it's one of those things where, you know, if you're gonna bite on all these lines you think are bad, then go ahead.
Don't, don't like balance back and for- like, tonight's gonna be that I'm gonna just bite on all of them.
