Top coach suggests Alexandre Pantoja healed, ready for negotiation

ATT coach Marcos da Matta recapped UFC 328 from cageside and detailed implications for the flyweight title picture. He said Alexandre Pantoja's arm is 100% but a full championship camp is required before a hoped-for August or September rematch with new champion Joshua Van. Da Matta acknowledged backing Joshua Van to secure the rematch and described Van vs. Tatsuro Taira as five revealing rounds. Under "Flowers for Strickland," he credited Sean Strickland's pressure over Khamzat Chimaev's reported weight cut. He also called Arman Tsarukyan's White House backup opportunity valuable while noting that serving as a substitute is difficult.
