Tristan Peters stays hot at the plate and joins an elite group of White Sox hitters for a new franchise record, five consecutive games with a home run for Peters.
He got, Rangers left-hander Robbie Ahlstrom in the bottom of the fifth inning on Wednesday.
Lefty-lefty this time from Peters in the fifth game in a row where he hit a home run.
He finished three for four, a double, a home run, two RBIs, joining a list, Greg Luzinski, Ron Kittle, Frank Thomas, AJ Pierzynski, Paul Konerko, Carlos Lee, Munetaka Murakami, and now Tristan Peters, as the only players in White Sox history to have hit a home run in five consecutive games.
That is the franchise record.
So on Friday, Peters has a chance to stand alone in White Sox lore.
The all-time MLB record is eight, and he just continues to put himself in elite company.
