After that, Osani Gales, who's out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, averaged well over 20 yards a catch last year.

Another dynamic athlete who can win after the catch, can win down the field.

Now, he's an interesting one because there are several big, big, big programs that have continued to push for a top 50 overall recruit on the 247Sports composite ranking.

Alabama, I would probably call the team that I think is the team to beat today.

But Notre Dame is continuing to push here, and they're getting him back for an official visit.

He's committing on the end of June, so Notre Dame doesn't have too much time to, you know, put together their final pitch, and to make their final push, and to do all those types of things.

But I do think that it's very notable that Notre Dame has been able to stay firm in this recruitment.

Top four school for Osani Gales.

I would argue probably a top three school for Osani Gales.

Would I predict Gales to end up with the Irish?

Not today, but I will say if you get him to campus, anything is possible with Freeman and company.

Like, they have done a tremendous job of closing the deal on official visitors, particularly last off-season.

If you get Gales to campus and he doesn't commit to anybody from here until then, then Notre Dame has a shot.

Like, they always have a shot if you get two official visits, but you'll have to see if they're able to get him back on campus in South Bend.

He would be a tremendous addition, but again, I do think that I would probably pick against Notre Dame right now, but I would not pick against many other than Marcus Freeman to finish out a recruitment.

So he, he'll have a shot potentially near the end or the end of this month, the end of June, and we'll see where things trend for Osani Gales.

Moving forward.

The last guy, and this is the most puzzling one to me in terms of where things stand, that's Myles McAfee, who is out of Archbishop Spalding in the state of Maryland.

Guys, I'll be honest, this is a later c- a later offer that was extended just a couple months ago.

He clearly likes Notre Dame.

Notre Dame's in his top group of schools.

I just don't quite know where Notre Dame stands in this recruitment.

I hear, I've heard a lot of Virginia Tech chatter, and honestly, like, you could tell me any of the top schools are the team to beat, and I would believe you.

I find it hard to believe that Notre Dame is that team, and I'm just curious to see if Notre Dame continues to push him, depending on how, well, how things happen with Jones and if they have a fighter's chance with Gales down the stretch.

But McAfee is certainly on the board and is an interesting player, and Notre Dame is in, again, their top schools list.

So I don't have a great pulse though, admittedly, on where that recruitment lies.

Haven't been able to talk to anybody on the McAfee side of things, and I mean, so I It's, it's gonna be interesting to see how things finish out
